Detailed post-construction cleaning for new homes, townhouses and renovations on the Gold Coast. From fine dust inside cabinetry to residue on glass and fittings, we clean the finished property in preparation for inspection and handover.
A finished build can still hold dust inside drawers, along skirtings, around fittings and deep in window tracks. Our post-construction cleaning works through these areas room by room, removing the dust and surface residue that remain after trades have finished.
Planning the work
Initial, detailed and final cleans
From the first removal of construction dust to the final check before handover, each visit has a different job to do.
01
Initial clean
When areas are released for cleaning
Remove loose dust and small non-hazardous debris, vacuum and wipe surfaces, clear tracks and begin wet-area cleaning. This first visit deals with the initial build-up as completed areas become available.
02
Detailed clean
After the main fit-off and trade work
Work through cabinetry, drawers, wardrobes, glazing, bathrooms, fittings and floor edges. Assess remaining surface residue and clean the finished rooms in detail before inspection.
03
Final clean
Close to the agreed handover date
Remove dust that has resettled, touch up fingerprints and marks, recheck glass and bathrooms, and finish floors. Further trade work after this visit may require another clean.
Room-by-room post-construction cleaning
The detailed clean covers the finished rooms and the smaller areas where construction dust collects.
01
Kitchens & joinery
Clean cupboard and drawer interiors, shelves, fronts and handles.

02

Assess labels and light residue before removal, taking account of the glass and finish.

Wipe switches, handles and accessible vent grilles; remove accessible cobwebs and fine dust.
05
Floors & stairs

Use removal methods suited to the material, protecting new glass, joinery and finishes.
07
External areas
Clean external glazing, garages, balconies and terraces within the agreed project scope.
